Chalet d'Amour was built with the environment in mind. An insulated slab, double glazing throughout, and additional heavy duty insulation mean that the Chalet is incredibly thermally efficient. Plus, a solar panel delivers not only hot water, but underfloor heating in the bathroom.

Chalet d'Amour can be provisioned with supplies for continental breakfast, and a complimentary cooked breakfast will be available in the lodge for those who desire. Chalet guests may also choose to enjoy complimentary evening drinks & hors d'oeuvres either in the privacy of their chalet, or with other lodge guests.

Dinners are available at the lodge on Friday & Saturday evenings for a fee of $NZ80.00 per person including wines, and on other evenings by special request. We also offer a complimentary shuttle service to local restaurants, of which there are many.
