Lake Taupo and the surrounding region, which includes Rotorua, Waitomo and Tongariro National Park is truly spectacular. Words cannot do justice to the sights and activities on offer here, so Rob McEwen, owner of Taupo lodge Tauhara Sunrise, has launched a Facebook site which encourages anyone with great photos or things to say about the region to submit their offerings. Instead, the site is designed to be a public forum which encourages contributions from any and all who have something positive to share on Taupo and what makes it special," says McEwen.
