Taupo accomodation close to some amazing sights and activities

Taupo is widely regarded as the North Island's most spectacular region. This alone is good reason to seek accommodation in Taupo. But there is another equally good reason to make Taupo your accommodation HQ: The diverse range of sightseeing and activities within an hour or two of Taupo. Rotorua with its Maori culture and thermal attractions is one hour away. Tongariro National Park, a world heritage park with fantastic hiking trails is 1 1/2 hours, and Waitomo with its glowworm caves and blackwater rafting is 1 3/4 hours.
