Taupo lodge to host charity concert benefitting Plunket Society

On November 14, 2009, Tauhara Sunrise Lodge, Lake Taupo will host internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Monique Rhodes, who has come home to New Zealand to make a difference for NZ families with her charity album "Merry Christmas Baby" which is raising funds for Plunket.

Monique has supported rock and roll legend Chuck Berry on two European tours, has been writing and recording with members of Peter Gabriel's band in London, and has just been part of a performance for His Holiness the Dalai Lama in the south of France, which included in the audience the French President's wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, French celebrities and dignitaries, and members of the European royal family.

Taupo is getting the most special concert of the tour. Boutique Lodge Tauhara Sunrise is hosting an intimate house concert to make this an unforgettable evening. Seats are strictly limited so make sure you don't miss out on supporting Lakes District Plunket.
