Winter has arrived in Taupo

Saturday was a beautiful clear day and Mounts Ruapehu and Ngauruhoe looked absolutely stunning with their fresh coats of snow. Just a few more weeks and ski season will be here. It's a great time of year to enjoy Taupo. Not only snow sports, but winter fishing, spas and thermal hot springs, beautiful hikes and mountain bike trails ... the list goes on. The cafes and restaurants are also inviting at this time of year.
